Curriculum Vitae

I have studied physics, mathematics, philosophy and educational sciences in Wuppertal and received my diploma (1998) and PhD (2002) in high enegy physics doing a data anlysis for the DELPHI experiment at the European centre for high energy physics (CERN). I worked as a research associate at the research centre Jülich (2004 to 2007). During this time I had research stays at the University of Texas (Houston, USA) and the Perimeter Institut (Canada). In 2008 I have completed my internship (Referendiat) and worked as a physics and mathematics teacher at the Carl-Duisberg Gymnasium in Wuppertal. Since 2013 I am research associate at the working group for physics and its didactics. I am also associated with the project Epistemology of the Large Hadron Collider and the Gödel Enigma project.


Several years engagement as an extra at the Tanztheater Pina Bausch and Beekeeper since 2017. Member of the Physics and Philosophy working group of the German Physical Society (DPG) and member of the Goethe Gesellschaft Wuppertal.
